Some Updates

It's been a while since my last post, haven't been too sure what to write about to be honest. However, I do have some updates for you guys if you are interested.

First, I got the smoke tutorial up a couple of days ago. I believe it goes over more that nearly all of the current tutorials that are out there. I've noticed most of them don't even go over how to render the smoke, which is the most difficult part of the whole thing. Anyways, you can check that out here.

Another update, that I don't think I have posted up yet is that I am going to be doing my livestream on Saturdays at Noon, GMT -8. That's 3PM for the east coast of the US. So, if you wanna show up, feel free to. I could probably go over the smoke system with you guys if anyone shows up to see. I know I am a little late on the announcement and have not been too good with promoting it at all. I can always do something different though if someone suggests something.

Also, before I forget, when people do show up I do plan on keeping the video on livestream at the very least. I have been planning on making video tutorials for ages now, I just gotta find a good time to do them. Livestreams will be more for people who have questions, need help, or just want to see me mess around with Blender and failing repeatedly.

In other news, considering that the second alpha version of Blender came out (with lots of fixes I have noticed already) a little while ago, I plan on getting the few remaining tutorials that have not been updated to 2.5 yet all done and set away. As usual, feel free to pop into the forums or contact me about what you would like to see in future tutorials. Oh, and if you have a request for a mini-tutorial that would go well with the blog, you can do that too.

That's all for now!
